3.1 Email choices

Account and purchase emails, such as receipts, password resets and training results, are part of the Service and are sent whenever they apply.

Product news and offers are optional. We send them only if you opt in when you sign up or in Account, and we record when and where you opted in. You can withdraw that consent at any time with the unsubscribe link in any such email or under Account, Email preferences. Withdrawing does not affect account and purchase emails.

We use the following third-party services that may collect and process your data:

• Polar - One-time credit-pack checkout, payment processing, and refund events
• Cloudflare - Image and video hosting and content delivery
• FAL.ai - AI processing for image and video generation, photo tools, and custom model training
• Vercel - Hosting and analytics
• Resend - Delivery of account and purchase emails, and of product news and offers if you opt in
• PostgreSQL Database Providers - Data storage

These third parties have their own privacy policies governing the use of your information.

5. Data Storage and Security

We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect your data, including:

• Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
• Hashed account passwords managed by our authentication system
• Secure session management
• Sign-in required for your account, library and requests

However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

6. Your Uploaded and Generated Content

Regarding the visual content you upload or create:

• Your uploaded images are stored securely and associated with your account
• Images and videos are delivered through Cloudflare from long, unguessable links. Anyone who has a link can open that file, so share links only with people you trust.
• Content may be processed through FAL.ai to provide the generation, photo, video, or training operation you request
• We may use anonymized, aggregated data from generated images to improve our Service
• You can delete supported images and videos using the controls available in the Service
• We do not sell or share your images with third parties for marketing purposes

7. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy. Until self-serve account deletion is available, contact privacy@43frames.com to request deletion. When a deletion request is completed, we remove account-owned media and application data. We retain payment or legal records only for as long as applicable law requires.

8. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

• Maintain your session and authentication state
• Remember your preferences and settings
• Analyze usage patterns and improve the Service
• Provide analytics through Vercel Analytics

You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may affect Service functionality.
