Start with one photo you know
Keep an untouched original on your device. After processing, compare the result at full size and at the size you plan to use.
- Check whether faces still look like the people in the photo.
- Look for changed text, clothing, texture or background details.
- Keep the edited version only if it helps your purpose.
Results and processing times vary. A clearer-looking image can still contain invented detail.
What the controls do
Size increase
Choose 2× · Double or 4× · Maximum. Use the smallest increase that meets your pixel-size needs, then inspect the downloaded dimensions.
Stay true to original
This Advanced control asks the model to follow the source more closely. It does not guarantee exact identity, lettering or product details.
Add detail
This Advanced control changes how much detail the model adds. Added pixels can be plausible guesses; compare them with the original.
How to upscale a photo
01
Upload a working copy
Open the tool and upload a JPEG, PNG or WebP file up to 10MB. Keep a separate copy of your original scan or photo.
02
Choose 2× or 4×
Select Size increase. Advanced contains Stay true to original and Add detail. Review the total credit cost before processing.
03
Review and download
Wait for the result, compare it with your original, then download the available image. There is no TIFF or archival-format export selector.
For preparation and result checks, read the upscale guide.

Prints and displays
Check the printer or display requirements and the downloaded pixel dimensions. Review a sample before ordering a large print; upscaling does not guarantee print quality.
Faces, text and products
Inspect features, lettering, logos and textures at full size. AI can change their appearance, even when the enlarged photo looks sharper.
